Swirl jet diffusers — circular air distribution for high-ceiling spaces

Swirl diffusers are the specific solution for spaces with large free height — industrial halls 6–15 m high, shopping centres, atria, airports — where standard grilles cannot distribute air uniformly at occupant level without creating excessive velocities at ceiling level or dead zones lower down. Swirl principle: air is introduced into the space with rotational motion (vortex) creating strong induction of ambient air from around the jet. This entrained air mixes rapidly with the supplied air, tempering the jet and distributing it uniformly throughout the space volume. Result: uniform air distribution over a much larger radius than a direct jet allows, without draught discomfort at occupant level. Applications: industrial halls with warm air introduction in winter (swirl diffusers eliminate thermal stratification, bringing ceiling heat down to working level), large shopping centres, sports halls, airports, any high-volume space with free height above 5 m.
